SWS Survey: Senate, House, SC Satisfaction Drops in Q1 2026
The latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey brings sobering news for the country's top institutions. Net satisfaction ratings for the Senate, the House of Representatives, and the Supreme Court all slipped in the first quarter of 2026. The poll, conducted in March, shows a clear divide between the growing impatience in the capital and the enduring loyalty of the provinces, particularly in Mindanao.
A Slide Toward Moderation
The nationwide survey, conducted from March 24 to 31 through face-to-face interviews with 1,500 adult Filipinos, paints a picture of cautious moderation. The Senate recorded a net satisfaction rating of +11, down three points from +14 in November 2025. Forty-two percent of respondents said they were satisfied with the Senate's performance, while 31% expressed dissatisfaction.
